Seven very different children attend a nature campsite in the ‘ middle of nowhere ’, which centres on the group of campers called ‘ The Acorns ’. Arnold , Jonathan , Hassan , Famke , Suus , Marietje and Frans all have their own way of disguising their problems , but here at the nature campsite everyone goes , literally and figuratively , back to basics . Under the leadership of the spiritual camp leaders Ben and Ben , the Acorns come closer to each other , to nature , and to themselves .
