Despite it only being the start of the Lover era, Taylor has made sure to include a surplus of clues for fans to find and decipher. This article will dive into the clues that have been solved that gives hint to what is to come in the Lover era. “ME!” Music Video: Solved “ME!” was the first single released during the Lover era. Taylor announced that the video was filled with clues about the upcoming album. The first solved clue the name of TS7. Within the background of the video, there was a neon sign that read, “Lover”, which fans quickly deciphered. Taylor announced that these theories were correct in an Instagram Live where she announced the album. Another easter egg was found in the French dialogue between Brendon and Taylor at the beginning of the video. Right before Taylor’s iconic “Je suis calme” line, Brendon says a line in French which translates to, “You need to calm down”, which hints at the second single for the album, “You Need To Calm Down.” Another hint at this second single lies in the background music of the first scene. Taylor revealed in a recent interview with Vogue that the music coming from the record player is playing an “old-timey, 1940s-sounding, instrumental version” of the song.
