food, usually a bit spicy) and serundeng (spicy coconut flakes). This food has
complex layers of chewiness, adds with spicy nutty texture, a little bit sweetness
and crispiness from the serundeng. Usually, ketan bakar was cut in half, then
people stuff the sambal oncom inside finished with serundeng as topping.
One might say Ketan Bakar is like a traditional sandwich from Earth Pasundan.
This very affordable snack priced only around Rp 10,000 per set or around 3
RM each. Searching Ketan Bakar in Bandung was not that hard, usually, there
are people who sell it on the street or you can also find it at the local restaurant.
