The flute section
would like to thank...
Vero Lopez: Thank you to Mr. Marines and my parents who made me love music and
gave me the tools to learn more each year. I have loved my experience with the 8th grade
band and will always be grateful for this opportunity we were given, throughout the
years we have mostly become a family and I couldnʼt be happier. Thankyou to everyone
in the 8th grade band for making these past 3 years great.
Emma Gonzalez: I would like to give a big thanks to everyone in the band who made
me have an opportunity to do something that I love by playing an instrument (flute),
I would also like to thank Mr. Marines for pushing me to become better everyday. I have
learned so much, not only about a band but about music and about the meaning
behind it. I am really grateful to have this opportunity and I would hope to advance in t
he future with this passion. These past years have been a great opportunity to me, shout
out to all the flutes.
Fer Guerra: Thank you to all of my band classmates who consistently made me laugh and
were able to work as a team. Thank you to my parents for their support. Thank you to
ASFM for always giving us opportunities and time in which to play so that we could
practice with an audience, and special thanks to Mr.Marines for always believing in us
and
teaching us not only to play music but to value it and always helped us grow.
.
Caty Arnaud: Thank you to all my teachers, especially Mr. Marines who showed my way
through music and encouraged me to keep trying. Thank you to Day 2 for always going
through our journey and suffering through the pieces together, also thank you to Day 2
for being better than Day 1. Fighting! TORTI
Minsung Jung: Thanks to my band and specifically the flute section, because it is my 2nd
year of band and I went to band since 6th grade, and I missed the 7th-grade band.
But because of the flute section and bandmates, I was able to adapt to the band and
catch up to the rest. Special thanks to Mr. Marines and all my bandmates.
Fernanda Cantu: Trough my 8th grade year of band I got to experience many things that
made me change my mood really quickly. I got to experience joy while practicing with
my class, but at the same time I was overwhelmed by all of the things I had to do to
accomplish the tasks that were given. I always thought of band as my time to take a
“time out” of reality, where I could laugh, smile and not stress about all of the other
things that I had to do during the day, playing my instrument would help me relax and
have fun, knowing that this wouldnʼt be possible without my teammates (day2) which
always made me laugh and have a good time, but most of all to Mr. Marines that without
him nothing would be possible; As a teacher, you have given us the capacity to believe
in ourselves and to dream big - Thank you.
Michelle Cervantes: Thank you Mr. Marines for not only teaching me how to play and
realize what I like to do but to laugh with us and teach me to never give up. Thank you
to my classmates for teaching me about teamwork and hard work.
