A lifetime journey, a journey of all
Every journey starts with a first step, and for every band student it starts with a simple note that the student
tries to hold while carrying a strange artifact with a mouthpiece stuck in the face, followed by learning how to
read notes. But after a little practice, the ultimate satisfaction arrives: making music with other people, and be-
coming a little family that grows together in this journey.
Tutti is italian for “all” and it has had a profound impact on the way this band has performed over the years.
You are about to hear a band that has come together as an outstanding team of music lovers. When these stu-
dents become adults, they will embrace music as an important part of their life, regardless of what they do for
a living. And years after they leave school, they will be able to share this album with other people and make
new connections. And thus their journey will resume.
“Tutti: Our journey through Band” is a compilation of the most important hits the 8th Grade Band of the
2018-2019 school year has ever performed while being in Middle School. This album is also a homage to past
bands and hopefully will be an inspiration for generations to come.
