2019 IN REVIEW
Dear AMOS Members,
6
BAMOS
Dec 2019
It has once again been a terrific year of engagement and
outreach for AMOS! Over the last 12 months we have hosted and
partnered in a mix of regional and national events with our aim to help
improve atmospheric, oceanographic and climate science outreach
across Australia. I summarise these activities below.
Thanks to all of you —
- our members —
- for contributing to our
highly successful events program for 2019. I have been fortunate
during my presidency to work alongside such an energetic group of
people dedicated to supporting and promoting the AMOS sciences!
There are many opportunities to get involved with AMOS and we
greatly appreciate the support of our volunteers from early career to
senior levels, so please do get in touch with our Regional Centre or
Committee Chairs if you'd like to join the team in 2020.
I look forward to seeing you at AMOS2020 in February!
Andrew Marshall, December 2019
