It is fantastic to see so many initiatives in this space turning research, data and science into meaningful information for different audiences. This issue features articles spanning tailored user engagement, broad outreach through mainstream media, social media channels and collaborations with government and community. On the topic of communication, the BAMOS team have been reflecting on your feedback and suggestions from the survey in June. In response to this we are pleased to present a few changes to this issue. The first is a new layout for the ‘News’ section which now combines short features and brief snippets summarising news and announcements of note from around the country and the world. The second change is the addition of a new section ‘Seasonal Snaps’ featuring photographs from the most recent season across the AMOS sciences. ‘Seasonal Snaps’ will feature photographs from the AMOS Instagram account over the season, collating and documenting some of the conditions observed across Australia. Details of how to get involved are available on pages 22 and 23 of the issue. Happy snapping! We are continuing to use the survey results and other suggestions in planning for the December issue and intend to feature a few changes in that issue too—stay tuned. We hope you enjoy reading this issue and look forward to your contributions and ideas for the December issue and beyond.
