PARKING

AT THE START: GREEN POINT PRECINCT

Parking around the marathon start in Green Point will be strictly controlled on race day.
Runners are reminded to only park in the designated parking areas, as indicated in the parking diagram provided in this digital magazine. These areas have been approved to ensure safe access for runners, residents, and emergency services.
Please note that illegally parked vehicles will be fined and may be towed. This includes parking in no-parking zones, blocking driveways, pavements, or access roads, and parking in residential-only areas outside the designated zones.
Green Point is a residential neighbourhood, and we ask all runners to be considerate of residents by respecting parking restrictions, keeping noise to a minimum in the early morning, and following the guidance of traffic officials and marshals.
Where possible, we strongly encourage runners to use public transport or arrange drop-offs near the start area to help reduce congestion and make race morning smoother for everyone.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us deliver a safe, respectful, and well-organised race day.
