PLAN YOUR RACE DAY
As a point-to-point race, a little extra planning goes a long way. We’ ve made race-day logistics as smooth as possible, with ample parking at both start venues and two simple ways to get you back where you need to be.
BUS SERVICE
Our popular race-day bus service returns, transporting runners from the finish at the Naval Base in Simon’ s Town back to both start points: Green Point Stadium and Bergvliet Primary School.
Golden Arrow will once again operate the service, with buses departing immediately after the prize giving. Please note: all bus tickets are sold out and will not be available for purchase at registration.
PRASA TRAIN SERVICE
PRASA( Metrorail Western Cape) will run a dedicated train service for runners and spectators. Trains depart from Cape Town Station at 05h15, travelling to Retreat.
Half-marathon runners should disembark at Heathfield Station, just a short walk from the start. Marathon runners cannot use the train to reach the start, but may take the train back to Cape Town Station post-race and then Uber to Green Point Stadium.
