About the Event:
The Balwin Properties Run Series Jeppe is one of four races in the inter-provincial Balwin Properties Run Series. Now in its third year, the series continues to grow, promising an even bigger and better experience for runners in 2026.
Traditionally held in February, the Jeppe race has moved to a new spring date on 20 September- perfect timing for runners looking to secure an early Comrades Marathon or Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon qualifier, or simply enjoy a great day of racing. Distances include a 42km marathon, 21km half marathon, 10km, and a 5km fun run, making it an event for runners of all levels.
A long-standing favourite on the Central Gauteng running calendar, the race is steeped in history and remains a go-to event for many local runners. The route stays true to its roots, with the marathon featuring a challenging two-lap course through Bedfordview and Edenvale that will test even seasoned athletes.
