The museum will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of American railroading in 2027 with exciting programming all year long, so be sure to come back then, too!
Finally, make your way down to Fell’ s Point, the city’ s storied waterfront where the firstever clipper ships were constructed. At the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park, the site of the nation’ s first African American-owned shipyard, you can learn just how essential the speedy ships were to Baltimore’ s role as a port city and discover the contributions African Americans made to our maritime industries.
