DAY
2
LEVEL UP YOUR SIGHTSEEING
If your first day in
Baltimore is all about settling in and familiarizing yourself with the city , then day two is about unleashing your spirit of adventure and taking your historical sightseeing to new heights ( literally ).
Start your day with breakfast and a rooftop view at The Chasseur , named for the most successful merchant ship in the War of 1812 . After the war , the ship earned its more famous nickname , The Pride of Baltimore . ( Fun fact : you can tour and set sail on a reconstruction of the ship when it ’ s docked in the Inner Harbor !) The Chasseur expresses its own pride in Baltimore ’ s maritime achievements through its food and atmosphere . Try the Chesapeake Benedict or crab & corn omelet while taking in views of the surrounding Canton neighborhood .
After eating , enjoy a leisurely stroll along the waterfront promenade until you reach the World Trade Center . As the world ’ s tallest pentagonal building , it offers priceless views of the Inner Harbor and downtown Baltimore from the 27th floor — also known as the Top of the World Observation Level .
