This city has long had a strong vegan presence underscored by two major annual events— Vegan Restaurant Week( typically held in February and August) and Vegan SoulFest( typically held in August).

From dairy-free creameries to farm-to-table food stalls, it’ s easy to eat meat-free in Charm City. Check out some of our favorite spots below, where the POV on vegan and plant-based dishes is less crunchy, more creative.
DOUBLE ZERO
Part of a popular national chain from celebrity chef Matthew Kenney, Double Zero rethinks pizza from a vegan viewpoint. The creative menu includes modern pizza combinations topped with dairy-free cheeses like macadamia ricotta and cashew mozzarella and cooked to perfection in a custom-built wood-burning oven. A smattering of small plates and a selection of organic, sustainable wines round out the offerings. Located in Baltimore’ s iconic Inner Harbor, Double Zero is the perfect place to end a day of exploring the National Aquarium, paddle boating on the water or taking a scenic Water Taxi ride. 414 Light St.
