There , owner Danyell Williams sources vintage gems so great that her spot was ranked the city ’ s best vintage boutique by Baltimore magazine in 2020 . “ Her love of vintage clothing , its incomparable construction and timeless conceptual designs , began during her tweens ,” says Jackson . “ She ’ s been sourcing and discovering gems , thrifting , upcycling and creating wearable art ever since .”
Farther north in Mount Washington Village , find Lisa ’ s Luxury Consignment Shop , which Jackson counts as her favorite for discovering unique consignment scores . Expect to find something different each visit , but the wares range from furs and estate jewelry to boots and beauty products . “ I love the village setting and hanging out on the boutique ’ s wrap-around terrace ,” says Jackson .
Also in Mount Washington Village is Something Else , which was established 54 years ago by one of the city ’ s earliest fashionistas , Elsie Fergusson , and is considered one of Baltimore ’ s oldest boutiques . Now owned by Annastasia Baca , the shop offers a diverse array of fashions , from vintage to naturally dyed garments . “ It reminds you of shops in Greenwich Village circa 1970s ; in fact , you could pick up the building and set it down right in the middle of Greenwich Village ,” says Jackson . And if you ’ re extra lucky , you might even hit the store during one of its occasional memorabilia sales , which feature exquisite treasures collected by the late original owner . VB
