Then, head to Patterson Park, one of Charm City’ s iconic greenspaces. You may be more inclined to enjoy the park’ s sprawling fields and walking paths in the summer, but with winter comes the opportunity to enjoy a neighborhood favorite: the Mimi DiPietro Skating Center. Bring your own skates to the ice rink, which welcomes skaters of all levels, or rent them on-site before spending the day channeling your inner Olympian.
Afterward, dinner is served at Oleum, a corner restaurant in Fell’ s Point that shows what vegan dining can and should be. Everything on the menu is made with plants, from the lasagna with a“ beef” ragu to Maryland“ crab” cakes made with lion’ s mane mushrooms.

Their robust events schedule even includes a monthly plant swap where you can exchange full plants, propagations and supplies.
