Elements of Smalltimore were intentionally selected to celebrate our community and embody the resilience and spirit of Charm City . You may see it at events both locally and regionally — if you do , be sure to stop by and say hi !
You may be asking yourself , “ What is Smalltimore ?” It refers to a phenomenon locals are familiar with in which Baltimore sometimes feels like a small town due to its friendly nature and the familiar faces you often see . Once you know it , you become a part of Smalltimore .

• ROWHOUSE NUMBERS 2131 ( Cal Ripken Jr .’ s record-breaking consecutive game ) and 1814 ( the year the Star-Spangled Banner was written ).
• REPLICA GHOST SIGN ( a faded hand-painted advertisement from a bygone era often seen on brick buildings around Baltimore ) celebrating Baltimore ’ s legacy as “ A City of Firsts .”
