As exciting as Baltimore ’ s musical past is , its future looks just as bright as some of the world ’ s top performers continue to set their sights on our myriad amphitheaters , clubs and concert halls . CFG Bank Arena has hosted several heavy hitters in its first few months post-renovation , including Lizzo , Bryan Adams and Chris Stapleton , and they ’ re keeping the momentum going with a stellar lineup to round out 2023 . SZA , the Jonas Brothers , Queen with Adam Lambert and Andrea Bocelli are just a few of the stars set to grace downtown Baltimore before the end of the year . But that ’ s just the beginning ; with more acts to be announced for 2024 , there ’ s no doubt that CFG Bank Arena will continue to bring the biggest and best entertainment to Baltimore in the years to come .
Beyond CFG Bank Arena , there are several other venues bringing big names to the city . Catch Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks at M & T Bank Stadium , Brett Young at Camden Yards and Matt and Kim at Rams Head Live , plus upbeat dance parties at Power Plant Live and Baltimore Soundstage . The Lyric provides a variety of performances , from Disney sing-alongs to cover bands , while the Hippodrome brings the best Broadway shows to Baltimore for musical theater fans to get their fix .
Another venue in the works is the Paramount , a 4,000-seat indoor venue currently under construction that is expected to host 150 to 200 shows each year . It ’ s located in the middle of Warner Street , Baltimore ’ s burgeoning entertainment district , across from Topgolf and bookended by Horseshoe Casino and M & T Bank Stadium . Also in the area is Hammerjacks , a reinvention of a beloved Baltimore nightclub that has hosted Ravens gameday tailgates and outdoor concerts .
You don ’ t have to wait for your favorite artist to come to Charm City to witness some serious star power , though ; there are many impressive musicians living and working within the city . Some of our most prominent voices include Al Rogers Jr ., Jacob Marley , John Tyler and Zadia , the singer behind Visit Baltimore ’ s “ Your People Are Here ” commercial anthem .
