Bally’s Casino today holds
its head high as one of the
most successful gaming
companies in Sri Lanka.
Recently, the company
celebrated its 22nd year of
operations after years of
challenges and economic
turmoil. Bally’s inception
was recorded in October of
1995 with just 10 tables to
start with.
Over time, with an employee
count of about 100, today stands
as an icon of sorts, employing over
1000 members of staff, not just
from Sri Lanka but from a number
of other countries as well. In 2010,
the venue was then moved to
where it can be found now; on D.
R, Wijewardene Mawatha.
With a total area of 54,500 sq.ft.,
over half of this area is dedicated
to service areas of the offices, staff
quarters and kitchen for example.
The rest of course, is covered with
gaming machines, table games
and enough space laid out for the
interactive pleasure of players and
clients who visit.
