The Sky Comes Alive at 2025 Balloons Over Vermilion

This year’ s 9th annual Balloons Over Vermilion event will take place at Vermilion Regional Airport on Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12. The theme this year is Where the Sky Comes Alive.
Admission is $ 5 per person. Children 10 years of age and under get in free with each paid adult. Parking is also $ 5 per car. The event is cash only. There is an ATM on site, once inside the gates.
Pets are not allowed at the event for safety reasons. Visitors may bring lawn chairs and blankets, but not coolers. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be on sale throughout the venue. The event is completely smoke-free.
This year, two new balloons are making their highly anticipated arrival. Police Dog will be piloted by Brian Chase, and Fire Dog will be piloted by Tom Steinbock.
