- 30th ANNUAL WOOD SHOW
This year’s wood show demonstrates
practical skills required for working with
wood.
Guild members will make, display and
sell a variety of wooden items all made
from sustainable and beautiful Australian
timbers.
Children will also be invited to make their
own wooden bird box or carry box from kits
prepared by Guild members.

WHEN: 9am–5pm, Saturday and 10am–
4pm, Sunday
COST: Adults $5, children under 16 free.
Save with a joint entry ticket to the Ballarat Apron Festival and the Wood Show for a
combined ticket price of $7.50 (usually $10). Available for purchase at either venue.
The Apron Festival will take place at St Patrick’s Hall.

BELL RINGING AT THE BALLARAT TOWN HALL
Eight bells cast at Whitechapel foundry in London in the 1860’s hang in the Ballarat
Town Hall tower, a memorial to Prince Alfred - Ballarat’s first royal visitor and the son
of Queen Victoria. A team of bellringers will practice the ancient art of bellringing on
Sunday afternoon.
