Thanks to E-SPLOST funds , the school district began an $ 11.5 million renovation project at Oak Hill Middle School . For 24

years , ESPLOST has helped with new school construction , installing new roofs and HVAC units , upgrading technology infrastructure , renovating existing

schools , installing new playground equipment , purchasing new buses , instructional technology , and computing devices for the classrooms .

The middle school was part of the next phase of ESPLOST improvements .

“ ESPLOST has proven to have a dramatic impact on the improvement of all of our schools in the district , and it has been amazing to witness the transformation of Oak Hill throughout this process ,” said Dr . Noris Price , Baldwin County School Superintendent .

The multi-million dollar renovation to the school includes a new roof , HVAC systems , and brand new interior renovations .

“ We are beyond proud of how the renovations turned out . At Oak Hill , our goal is excellence , it is reflected from the attitudes and achievements of our students as well as the school itself ,” said Daymond Ray , Oak Hill Middle School

The most recent improvements to Oak Hill is in a long line of ESPLOST renovations that have assisted the Baldwin County School District . E-SPLOST dollars have funded secure vestibule entry-points and camera monitoring systems at all school locations , helping to keep our students and staff as safe . It has also allowed us to fund construction improvements for our athletics programs , including the new Baldwin High School Athletic Complex , new track surfacing , and new bleachers at Braves Stadium .

“ A special thank you to all of the voters who have supported the ESPLOST referendum . Your incredible support to our schools and our teachers is greatly appreciated ,” Price added .

Oak Hill will continue to see future improvements to the school , including new classroom resources and technology .
