Partnerships
This winter, and in spring 2019, Ocean Park
and Baker & Bloom are joining hands to
introduce the “Little Explorers” and “Junior
Explorers” programs!
Designed according to the Next Generation Science Standards and incorporating
Harvard Project Zero’s Visible Thinking approach, these two programs cover:
• how animals adapt to their environment
• how their form and structure allow animals to perform different functions
• how humans are inspired by animals to create new designs
...all whilst exploring the grounds of Ocean Park! 
The goal of the Explorer programs is to help students enjoy their first step in
STEAM learning, and to unleash their potential in the fields of nature, science,
technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Join us today! 
We have partnered up with The New York Times* to offer a series of Media
Literacy courses, beginning this winter with a workshop for G7-12s. In this
exciting new learning opportunity, students will:
• learn core concepts of media literacy by reading and analysing news articles
• gain critical skills to navigate the internet and make better choices 
• compare credible and unreliable sources
• how not to be fooled by fake news
*Students of this course will be given the opportunity to subscribe to the NYT for one year at
a discount rate.
