Secondary English Program
In the secondary phase of education, the
academic focus and needs of students
become more specific. Our courses provide
students with targeted instruction to meet
the knowledge requirements for many
different senior secondary examinations,
including the IGCSE, IBDP, and AP.
Students are offered opportunities to
read, analyze, and critique challenging
literary and non-literary texts so that
they can develop transferable skills for
school and beyond. Additionally, many
parents consider boarding school, so
our courses provide students with the
rigorous knowledge that will allow them to
succeed in these contexts. We also
develop course materials to suit the text
selections of individual schools.
Our program has had excellent results because of our teachers’ decades of
experience teaching senior certificate examinations, our demanding text selections,
which develop intellectual, aesthetic, and character growth, and our insistence that
students grapple with important and interesting ideas that will allow them to
continue learning in the future.
