Town Rules for Bake Sale Goods

Must be fully made in your private home
Each serving must be individually wrapped in its own closed container in the private home where it was made ( items not individually wrapped at home must be sold as a single unit along with the container )
Must be shelf stable and not require refrigeration

Yes Examples of Permitted Homemade Goods :

Unfrosted and / or unfilled cookies , cakes , cupcakes , brownies , cinnamon rolls , doughnuts , etc .; fudge ; muffins ; breads ; pies ( but NOT made with custard , eggs , creamed fillings , cream cheese , meringue , etc .)
Frosted and / or filled cookies , cakes , cupcakes , brownies , cinnamon rolls , doughnuts , etc ., but ONLY IF they have icings or toppings or fillings that are commercially prepared and shelf stable , or are homemade but only contain shelf stable , non-perishable ingredients like sugar , shortening , and / or commercially prepared meringue powder and food coloring

Examples of Prohibited Homemade Goods :
Fruit butter or cookies with fruit butter that has not been incorporated into the cooked batter
Homemade salsa ( or other items with vegetables ) Dehydrated meat / poultry or other homemade jerky
Baked goods that incorporate homegrown and / or home canned fruits or vegetables
Items that contain cheesecake filling , cream cheese , custard , meringue , creamed filling , fillings with eggs , etc .
Fresh fruit that has a chocolate or candy coating ( such as chocolate covered strawberries or caramel apples )
Anything with non-shelf stable fillings or toppings made with perishable ingredients
