It just keeps getting better and better. Talent Uncapped as the name suggests is talent which has
been freed; freed into a realm of visibility. From
poetry and spoken word, to acting, dance, comedy and singing, Talent Uncapped aims to feature
a wide range of upcoming and seasoned talent
across Barbados. While Talent Uncapped has
originated in Barbados, it incorporates talent from
the Barbados Diaspora and the wider Caribbean
Region. Talent Uncapped is an event hosted by
Bajan Sun in collaboration with the Bajan Association of Rum Shops (B.A.R.S. Inc.) at the Casablanca Pool Hall and Bar located
Maxwell Coast Road, Christ Church, Barbados every last Sunday of the month.
Night 3 - was AWESOME, EPIC, UNFORGETTABLE, and if you missed it
again you’ve really missed it. The third night of this event was held on Sunday 28th
July 2014 and from the start all the way through to the end, persons were entertained and incorporated into performance which not only had the crowd laughing,
but asking to be kept informed of the next Talent Uncapped event.

The night showcased lots of local and regional talent evident in poetry, spoken
word, music, dance,, singing and comedy. Free Motion a unique dance group
opened the event and inspired a less talented group of “misfit dancers” called - Slow
Motion to also entertain the crowd. This event also featured seasoned and upcoming
poets, and authors which included: Robert the Passion Poet, Cher C, Mariposa, Iris
Flow, Blake, E.M. Adams, Tanika Walton, Isis Blu and Lady Passion. Other talents
included African Drumming by Jomo Lashley as he so skillfully played alongside
classical and contemporary pianist Ruth-ann Lewis. This performance was simply
amazing - if you wanted to see Beethoven goes to Africa, this was the place to be.
Sherece Chandler yet again blew the minds of those present with her two performances. The event also included a unique element entitled: the “Author’s Corner”,
where author E.M. Adams was the first author to display her new book ADEGOR The One Who Survived, from which she read a couple pieces.

Host Raeann Beckles also kept the crowd laughing with her smart talk, comedic
personality
and
her
rendition
of
“Mary Had A Little Lamb” on the Piano. As always , to keep the place pumping,
the youthful and skillful DJ Renaldo, was in attendance. Another remarkable evening of talent!
