The Almond & Spoon Race which was
a lot more FUN! The kids Treasure
Hunt, Arm Wrestling Competition,
Push Up Competition, Jumping Jacks
Competition, Pull up Competition and
the Volley Ball Competition. It was a
great, fun-filled day. Thanks to B&B
Distribution and Frutee, everyone
went home with prizes.

TV host /Celebrity Chef Ainsley
Harriott at Mr. Delicious Snack Bar
Bajan cuisine has been featured on a number of media platforms before, the latest will be on
an episode of the Best Street Food Spots around the globe series “Ainsley eats street”. TV
host and Celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott and team was on island as filming for their series
“best street foods of the world”. Barbadian street food will be given international exposure
when the series airs in October 2014.
The crew was on location at
the Mr. Delicious Snack Bar ,
Miami Beach on the 12th of
March during an event called
“We & Them” A Beach
Cricket Lime put together by
Joel Leacock son of the owner
of Mr. Delicious along with
B.A.R.S Inc. team, showcasing
Barbadian food, culture and
sports. Joel believes small
business have a part to play in
the tourism sector and must be
supported. Visitors to the
beach both locals and tourists
welcomed the initiative giving
it a thumbs up.
Founder of the B.A.R.S. Inc. Franklyn Parris has been pushing for activities showcasing
Bajan Culture and Heritage. Moreover, the Association is fighting to create profitability for
the Shops and to boost exposure for them including their culture and heritage aspects. He has
also supported a Rum Shop Tour that provides a total educational, cultural & heritage package
that showcases our food, local beverages and talents; art and entertainment.

Delicious and urge all related parties who can play a role in making the activities a success to
jump on board. These form of activities bring value to our visitors and adds to the Barbados
tourism package.
The Royal Barbados Police Force – Oistins Station did an excellent job serving, protecting
and reassuring the safety of visitors and local community at the Mr. Delicious Snack Bar
Beach Cricket Lime on both DAY 1 and Day 2. Visitors saw local jewellery created by
ROCKiT DeZigns, while singing sensation LIVIA & Jerry Roberts entertained patrons as they
enjoyed the days activities. Patrons also indulged in the Mr. Delicious’s Famous Rum Punch
& Fish Cakes, Frutee, Kola Kick Energy drink and Banks Beer. Look out for Barbados and
it’s Cuisine with Mr. Delicious Snack Bar and Joel Leacock in an Episode of the Best Street
Food Spots around the globe series “Ainsley eats street” in October 2014!
