Associate Resource G Ascend seeks to expand leadership opportunities for females at Baird in support of the firm’s goal of becoming the employer of choice for women. In the spirit of accelerating gender parity, key Baird leaders and Ascend host an annual International Women’s Day celebration. Baird also sponsored Milwaukee’s inaugural Ideation Summit in 2019, which highlighted perspectives from Baird associates and local professionals on inclusive leadership. In addition, Baird sponsored the 2019 Chicago Booth Women Connect Conference to help Ascend members and other participants cultivate networking opportunities to enhance personal and professional growth. Baird Gives Back demonstrates what it means to lend a helping hand. This group hosts a global week of caring that includes nearly 2,200 associates and family members donating more than 7,800 hours to 179 nonprofit organizations. Associates continue to expand the program every year and achieved new participation records in 2019. Prism represents multicultural diversity across the firm.
