A Message from Steve Booth
Since Baird was founded more than 100 years ago, giving
back to the communities where we live and work has been
a cornerstone of our culture. We continue to build upon
that tradition today by supporting our associates and the
causes they’re passionate about. Since our last Report, two
champions of Baird’s culture of giving back, Fred Kasten and
Paul Purcell, sadly passed away. With unbridled enthusiasm,
these former Baird leaders contributed their time, talents
and resources to numerous nonprofit organizations and
motivated others to do the same. Their selfless work and
dedication continues to touch countless lives and serves as
an inspiration to us all.
In this spirit, we are proud to offer programs such as Baird
Gives Back Week – a weeklong opportunity to get involved in
our communities through volunteerism – and the Associate
Match program, which supports our associates’ personal
donations to the nonprofit organizations of their choice.
