VenturePOP is a two-day confer-
ence for creative business owners
in New Orleans, Louisiana. This
year’s event takes place Septem-
ber 30 to October 1st at the New
Orleans Museum of Art. Five years ago, Ciera and Kristy
started a local monthly meet-ups
for creatives. They felt the com-
munity needed more and wanted
to bring education, communi-

The two founders met 15 years
ago while attending an arts
intensive high school along side
other passionate creatives. After
both moving to other states after
college they found themselves
moving back to New Orleans and
reconnecting.
Fast-forward to 2015 and the
first annual VenturePOP confer-
ence was born. The creative New
Orleans community backed and
successfully funded the Kick-
starter campaign and the rest is
history.
