I ’ ve learned that people don ’ t hire you because of how perfect you seem . They hire you because they feel safe , supported and challenged by you . They love how you show up in your life , and they feel like you can help them to show up and overcome their own BS .
I ’ ve learned that sometimes the people you would expect to cheer you on and have your back feel uncomfortable by your commitment to your work and may not be your cheerleaders after all , and that ’ s ok . I ’ ve learned that haters are gunna hate , and no matter what … love them anyway . Also , put up some motherfucking boundaries around what you ’ re willing to put up with in your life .
I ’ ve learned that trying to make everyone happy and selling to everyone is the fastest way to feeling defeated and lost . That this desire to please everyone and be palatable actually stems from the fear that what your doing isn ’ t good enough if everyone doesn ’ t approve and like it . This one hurt to learn , and relearn over and over again . The truth is true love and true success means no longer waiting to be accepted . Love and believe in yourself now .
I ’ ve learned that your inner guidance , intuition and body is
always talking to you and the more you listen , even if it seems to make no sense at ALL ( which it almost always seems crazy AF ) you will be guided to the success you most desire in all areas of your life , not just one !
I ’ ve learned that having laser focus on my goals doesn ’ t work for me and that I need to spice it up . I ’ m a multi-passionate entrepreneur through-and-through . You can find me working with clients , behind a microphone singing songs , playing the real estate game and lost out in the wilderness on my own finding my truth . This all adds to the magic of my goals and makes it easier for me to stay in love with it all .
I ’ ve learned that after every seeming “ defeat ” a great wave of inspirited ( inspiration ) comes if I ’ m willing to let go of what I expected and embrace the next chapter . I ’ ve fallen in love with the mantra “ welcome to is , where it is what it is ” and have grown to embrace diving timing ( not my timing ) although , for this recovering perfectionist control-freak it has been a continuous dance between my timing and divine timing .
