Letter from the Editor
Gratitude is the fuel of our souls. Gratitude has the power to spark ideas and inject pure
passion into our world.
Everyday we show up and we float along through our existence. Have you ever stopped to
look around at all life has to offer you? During our worst situations it can be easy to get
caught up in the snowball effect of negativity. I am the not-so-fortunate long time owner
of anxiety. Once something sets off in my mind, I instantly start to see everything else
that is “wrong”. My office is a joke...my fridge is dirty...no one is going to read anything I
write. It’s like a series of bombs going off in my mind.
Luckily, being a long time owner of anxiety, I have found the best way to deal with this is
through gratitude. Who cares if my fridge is dirty? I am just so grateful to have that fridge
to keep the food in that nourishes my body. If no one was going to read the things I wrote,
you wouldn’t be reading this right now. I am so grateful for you.
Gratitude is an amazing tool that comes around ten folds. As an online business owner I
try to express gratitude to my virtual world by always giving back. Showing gratitude is
more than just expressing it. You can give back simply by supporting a fellow boss or even
just offering words of encouragement. You express gratitude every time you help someone
without expectations. Every single time you help someone who is struggling by simply
showing up.
Gratitude is more than a list of things. It is a way of life that encompasses us all. Even as I
write this, I am taken back by all the gratitude that I receive in my life. How will you keep
gratitude at the front of your mind this November? How can you openly receive gratitude
in your life and in business from others?
Find your happy place and just start there.
XOXO,
Samantha
