I
know what you want. You
want to achieve something
remarkable. You want to
reach success on your own terms.
You want to build a thriving,
badass business that not only
makes an impact, but provides
an income. You want to be a
game changer in your industry,
not just another entrepreneur in
your space.
But there is only one, minor
(okay, huuuge) problem that you
have right now.
You are lacking a clear vision
for your badass biz you want to
build.
You know that you are unique
and unlike the rest of your com-
petitors, but you are not quite
sure how to REALLY stand out
and get the visibility you desire.
You know that you want a loyal,
engaging tribe of consumers, but
you are not quite sure how you
can grab their attention. And you
have all of these ideas running
through your head about what
you want to do with your busi-
ness, but you are not quite sure
how to execute them!
I get it. Finding clarity as an
entrepreneur and having a clear
vision for your badass business,
can be freaking hard!
So how the f*ck do you create a
business vision that is authentic
to who you are, one that you are
crazy passionate about, and one
that stands out to attract your
ideal consumer?
You get real about who YOU are
first. You become self-aware.
SELF-AWARENESS
Self-awareness is the most valu-
able, yet often times the most
overlooked, quality you could
have.
Self-awareness is understanding
who you are to the very core, in-
cluding your sense of character,
your strengths, your weaknesses,
your personality traits, your hab-
its... everything that encapsulates
your unique identity.
Self-awareness is being aware of
who you are and who you want to
become.
Now, if you don’t have a clear un-
derstanding of who you are to the
very core, how do you expect to
build a business that is authentic
and feels good?
Becoming an entrepreneur takes
an enormous amount of time,
energy, dedication, patience, and
a shit ton of sacrifice. You are
essentially committing yourself
to the success of your business
and it is going to require MORE
work than any other job you have
had in the past. Before you forge
onward with building and grow-
ing your own business, you need
to make sure that your business
vision is fully aligned with who
YOU are.
This is why it all starts with
self-awareness. Ask yourself
these questions…
What are your strengths? What
have you ALWAYS been really
good at?
What are your weaknesses?
What is it, that no matter how
much effort or extra work you
put in, you just straight up suck
at?
How would you describe your
personality, in just 3-5 words?
What do you value in life?
What do you want to be known
for? We are talkin’ legacyyyy
here!
Answer these questions with
honesty, and GET REAL with
From there, think about how
your strengths could serve your
ideal audience and benefit
THEM. Reflect upon what your
consumers are struggling with,
their pain points, and the prob-
lems they face. How can your
strengths turn into the perfect
solution for them?
Next, take a look at your weak-
nesses. And then forget about
‘em. Okay, more like acknowl-
edge them and just accept
them. You don’t need to put in
any extra work to make them a
strength. Outsource, outsource,
outsource.
As for your personality, your
values, and what legacy you want
to leave behind, these are the
elements that are key to creating
your badass business vision.
Your business vision should align
who you truly are. with who YOU
are. I am not saying that your
business has to be a replication
of your own identity, but there
should be some common threads.
Since there is only ONE you in
the world, your identity is what
will set you apart as an entrepre-
neur. None of us have the same
personality, qualities, life expe-
riences, and values, which is why
you need to infuse your identity
into your business vision.
