To know where the outer edge of
your aura is, close your eyes, take
a couple of deep breaths, relax
and ask your intuition to show
you. Or just get a “feel” for how
big your aura is. Or literally see
where it is. If none of those work,
simply imagine where it is. You’ll
still get a pretty good idea.
If your aura is more than or
less than about 18 inches away
from your physical body, intend
that it move out or in to settle
at that distance. You may feel
or otherwise sense it move, you
may see it move, or just image
that it moves where you want it
to (which it does because that’s
your intention!). Make sure your
aura is all the way around you:
front, back, both sides, over
your head and under your feet.
The edge of your aura may form

the shape of an egg or a bubble
surrounding you, but whatever
you see, sense or imagine is fine.
You have just claimed—or more
exactly, reclaimed—your space.
Now sit in that space for a bit
and see how different it feels
from how you’ve been before.
Most people have a wonderful,
safe, happy feeling. But if you
feel claustrophobic or way too
spread out, that’s OK. It’s just a
change that you’ll adjust to and
come to love. It’s also a “false
message” to keep you where way
you are. You’re ready to change,
so keep practicing and you’ll get
used to it.
2. GET ALARMS, MOTION
SENSORS AND FLOOD-
LIGHTS
The next step in claiming your
space is to define it and protect
it. One way to do that is with
“protection roses.” Protection
roses deflect negativity and other
things that aren’t in your best
interest, and therefore don’t al-
low them to enter your space. It’s
kind of like light reflecting off a
mirror: they just bounce away.
To create a protection rose, see
or sense or imagine the edge of
your aura about an arm’s length
away. Now imagine or create a
rose in front of you—or intend
that a rose appear in front of you.
It can be any color—though I
suggest playing with red and gold
first—any size, any variety. Don’t
get hung up on it; just imagine
or create a fully open rose. Once
you see or sense or imagine it,
place it anywhere you want on
the edge of your aura. You can
