I immediately grab my journal
and write in it: Plan- if Tony
Robbins talks to me, my only
mission is to tell him I want to be
on his team! I closed my jour-
nal. That was it, how easy. I’d
get to see him live, possibly meet
Gary V, listen to their incredible
presentations and hope that this
event would have a major impact
on my life. Now, I just had to
wait a month for the event.
The day arrives, and all is right
in the world. I spend 10 hours
listening to speakers, dancing,
high fiving, and doing all the
things I expected and more. I
was ready. I was sending so-
nar signals to Tony for over two
hours when all of a sudden- it
happened. Out of a stadium
of 5,000 people, Tony Robbins
walked over to me. ME. The
event staff raced over and hand-
ed me a microphone, and when
Tony asked me what my “flavor”
was- (and if you’ve watched him
you know he is talking about
your pain point--fear, anger,
sadness, etc.) I froze. This man,
with this amazing presence was
standing close enough for me
to feel his breath, and I total-
ly froze. I was so caught up in
the moment, that I laughed and
jokingly asked him if he meant
“Other than cookie dough?”

Don’t worry friends, it happens
to the best of us, even those (like
me) who have worked with ce-
lebrities and been in the media
spotlight. This story is not over,
not by a long shot. But, today I
am 46. It’s a new day. I’m not
done asking.
