Stay inspired. It’s the only way you will truly see your Badassery for what it is.
At Badassery Magazine, we run on the definition of Badassery being to ‘render all onlookers as awe struck’.
Do we do that? Without a single shred of doubt, I believe we do. But, how do we do it? By staying inspired.
Where does all this inspired action and inspiration come from?
It comes from you. The wild ones: the ones who dare to step up and tell their stories. The ones who aren’t
hiding behind their perfectly polished Instagram feeds who spend all day pretending like those quote
graphics are really going to work. We are inspired by the real and the raw, because that’s what life is. Real.
Raw. Deep.
Allow yourself to feel the emotions that are stirring in your soul. Allow yourself to feel what is really
happening in your life. Don’t feel that you have to hide it because others will see your success.
You are your own version of success. Stay perfect just the way you are, full of your Badassery.
This month’s issue is full of people that inspire us. When you read Badassery Magazine, you are seeing
women and men (thank you Mackenzie), who are at all stages in their lives. They may just be starting out or
are shifting directions in their lives. Some are even what you might call seasoned pros. Either way, let their
words inspire you to stand a little taller and even more confident in your very own Badassery.
Do not be afraid to go against the grain. Just because you saw it online, doesn’t make it your final destiny,
or the only way to reach the top of the mountain. Be a little kinder to yourself and be okay when you find
yourself a little scraped and rough around the edges. All the best badasses are flawed and sometimes,
even what others would call completely fucked up.
We aren’t trying to follow a path, we are just blazing our own trail and it’s time for you do be okay doing
the same. Stay inspired by your own visions, journey and success. When other’s say you can’t create
your definition of Badassery, use that energy as fuel to continue what you set out to do. Even if you aren’t
sure what that looks like in the end. Even we are surprised at what we have created. We just keep things
burning with inspiration that we funnel into our passions.
As you flip through these pages, you are being surrounded by bravery and greatness. We started Badassery
Magazine for you. To be inspired, have a place to share and realize your true potential. You can literally do
anything that sets your heart, soul and mind on fire. We did this for you.

I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind, that I put down in words, how wonderful life is while you're
in the world.”
