• Always wear a seatbelt if your golf cart is equipped with them .
• Approach turns slowly . Turning at just 11 miles per hour can be fast enough to throw passengers out of the golf cart .
• Don ’ t drink while driving . It may seem like common sense , but golf carts are subject to the same traffic laws and dangers as cars .
• Avoid sidewalks and watch for pedestrians .
