Fore!Kids distributes $787,500 to charities
In a ceremony at Children’s
Hospital, The Fore!Kids Foundation
distributed $787,500 to seven local
charities as part of a total of $1.8
million in donations generated by
the 2015 Zurich Classic of New
Orleans and other events.
“Despite the challenges facing
the local economy, with the support
of Zurich Insurance Group, our
fans,
tournament
volunteers,
corporate supporters and Tour
pros, the Fore!Kids Foundation was
able to raise another $1.8 million
in cash contributions this past year
for children’s charities,” said Steve
Worthy, CEO of the foundation
that produces the PGA Tour event.
“This marks the second straight
year the Fore!Kids Foundation
has donated $1.8 million to local
children’s charities through the
proceeds of the Zurich Classic,”
Worthy added.

The balance of the $1.8 million
will be distributed to a number of
non-profit organizations in the
metro New Orleans and Baton
Rouge areas in early 2016.

2nd, Michael Paul Miller 2rd) Par (Michael Loh 1st, Nyles Williams 2nd, Crawford
Williams 3rd) and top level Birdie (Faith Loh 1st, Gabriel Loh 2nd, Evan Luu 3rd).
