BREC announces summer programming
While the May 29-June 1 Junior
Developmental League Golf Coed
Golf Camp is now full, there is still
time to register for other programs.

Competitive League Golf
Camp (Coed)
June 4 -5, 7–8 (4 Days).
Mon, Thurs, Friday at City Park
Golf Course; Tues at Santa Maria
Golf Course.
7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Fee: $185; Includes orientation,
range balls, green fees, uniform shirt
and cap, and awards.
Ages: 10-13 (9 yr. old who have
competed in recognized junior golf
programs and can play 18 holes can
be accepted). Limited to a size of
24.
A program designed for juniors
seeking to elevate their game to play
on a more competitive basis. The
camp is not set up to teach juniors
how to play golf (see The First Tee).
Juniors will need to operate with
a distinct level of independence,
capable of managing their own
equipment, able to walk and keep
up with an understanding of safety
and courtesy. Parents are invited
to attend if they wish to help their
junior in the initial stages, but it is
not mandatory. This camp is ideal
as a warm up to the PGA Jr League.
Participants will practice, learn
proper
course
management,
understand rules of play, and simulate
regular play. Parents are invited
to attend the match and awards
ceremony on Friday afternoon.
Managed by a PGA Professional
and staff . Juniors permitted to bring
snacks, refreshments, and lunches.
Cell phones permitted but with
limited access. Proper golf attire
required.
Registration Open: February 12
Orientation: Parent Orientation
will be held during the week of
February 12-16 beginning at 5pm.
Camp orientation for parents and
juniors will be 11 a.m. on May 12
at Santa Maria and Camp Prep at
City Park 5:30 p.m. on May 25.

A national program designed for
juniors playing in a team format in
a competitive format. The camp
is not set up to teach juniors how
to play golf (see The First Tee).

a distinct level of independence,
capable of managing their own
equipment, able to walk and keep
up with an understanding of safety
and courtesy. Parents are invited
to attend if they wish to attend as
PGA Jr League Golf Camp spectators, but it is not mandatory.
