( the natural way to contour!)
This is not a job for your warm-toned bronzer, which can look like a rusty stripe. A cool, gray-based contour powder mimics the most natural-looking shadow, says Jo Baker, makeup artist for Rimmel London. a b

DO …
USE A CREAM. Whether in a pot or a stick, they’ re foolproof. Layer over your base, directly onto the apple of your cheek, and blot to blend.
SAVE IT FOR LAST. Do the rest of your makeup before grabbing blush. That way you’ ll know exactly how much you need to complete your look.
DON’ T …
OVERTHINK IT. There are no rules when it comes to color. Try pinks, peaches, lilacs— even superbrights( intense colors can create the prettiest effect). But if you’ re really stumped, match your blush to your lipstick color. A monochromatic look never fails.
GO OVERBOARD. If you accidentally apply too much, tap on foundation with a sponge or brush to tone down the intensity, says Baker.
