ADA offers a Return to Work Interim Guidance Toolkit to help dental practices take measures before , during and after patient appointments to protect dentists , patients and staff from COVID-19 as dental practices reengage in providing the full range of oral health care .
ADA ’ s Advisory Task Force for Dental Practice Recovery has developed this toolkit that includes : a sample letter to patients ; guidance on pre-appointment screening ; in-office patient registration procedures ; reception area preparation strategies ; chair side checklist ; staff protection strategies ; supplies shopping list . The toolkit will be updated as new information becomes available and organized dentistry continues to learn more .
