If you want to study psychology and understand the complexities of human behaviour and the biological , psychological and social factors that contribute to individual , group and community processes , this course is for you .
You ' ll learn about how psychological , social and personality factors influence thinking and behaviour , as well as how interventions can be applied to help people lead more satisfying and meaningful lives .
Your required study includes a core sequence of psychology units and the opportunity to complete a major stream of study such as neuroscience , mental health and well-being , applied psychology and global studies , or applied psychology and gender studies , which will give you a broad understanding of psychological science in practice . This knowledge will lay the groundwork for you to make your own scientific discoveries , help to promote mental health , and to influence how those in the community think about mental health .
