WHAT IS IT?
With five specializations, the Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Health Sciences at EFSC prepares students for a wide variety of positions within the healthcare industry. Students in all specializations receive a broadbased foundation in global and national healthcare issues and trends, ethical and legal issues, health promotion and disease prevention, evidence-based practice, allied healthcare research, healthcare systems management, and healthcare-based informatics. Additionally, the Biomedical Sciences specialization allows students to focus their studies to help prepare them for advanced educational goals.
