BBM Of the books you ’ ve written , which one is your favorite and why ?
Our favorite book tends to be the one we ’ ve just completed . Starting a new book can be thrilling but also frustrating . There are always setbacks and worries . By the middle , we ’ ve worked out many of the problems , and we ’ re excited about the story kicking in and really rolling . That ’ s when it becomes our favorite book , which makes The Ghost and the Bogus Bestseller and Shot in the Dark our favorites of each series , at the moment anyway !
BBM : What do you find to be the most challenging part of writing ? And the most rewarding ?
The most challenging part of what we do is also the most rewarding . We are constantly looking for fresh ways to entertain , delight , and inspire our readers . We strive to make our words disappear , and our characters , settings , and stories as real and compelling as possible with a conclusion to each tale that resonates long after the last page is turned .
