{A} My personal style can best be described as effortless and comfortable.
I want it to look like I spent no more than five minutes getting dressed
because really, that’s about all the time I have! And with five kids and
crazy schedules, comfort is a huge priority. I like knowing that when I get
home I can go straight into mommy-mode without having to worry about
getting dirty or being uncomfortable.

{Q} THAT CERTAINLY GIVES US SOME INSIGHT INTO WHO YOU ARE
AS A MOM. HOW DO YOU BALANCE THAT WITH HAVING YOUR OWN
BUSINESS?
{A} At times, it’s definitely a struggle to balance work/family life. But I
do get so much joy and fulfillment from the shop, the photoshoots and
the buying season in general. But outside of work, after the kiddos are
asleep, I’ll pop out to yoga and clear my head. Then to wind down, I’ll
usually sit by the fire catching up with my husband. I am lucky that I have
an amazing husband. He totally has my back and supports my passion.
But I do find I have to make clear lines of distinction between the shop
and home. For example when my kids come home from school, my phone
shuts off and I am all theirs.
