Only 36% of CMOs can show the short-term quantitative
impact and only 29% the longer-term quantitative impact
of their marketing spend. This cannot continue as CEOs
are demanding that marketing demonstrate value. If CMOs
want to be strategic, they must apply a more stringent
intelligence and analysis to their spend and activities.
