Preparation of this activity takes some time. Teacher looks for pictures,
symbols that would express vocabulary, phrases or idioms contained in the
lyrics.
1. Divide students in small groups and give them a set of pictures for the song.
2. Tell them to listen to the song carefully and match the pictures in the order
they appear in the lyrics.
3. Teacher provides the correct order and students check.
4. Students and Teacher discuss the vocabulary of the lyrics to make sure that
everybody understands.
5. This point is optional; students can play a game. They stand around a desk
(the team they worked in) with their hands behind their back and all the pics
are placed on the desk. Teacher plays the song again and students grab the
picture they hear as fast as possible. The one with most of the pictures wins.
A set of pictures for the lyrics in more copies.
