PREPARATION: Print paintings with people in colour, laminate them to be used later. For

1. Students make pairs or groups of 3 – depending on the number of people in
the painting they will get. All the groups can get the same painting or you can
have two different paintings assigned for bigger variety.
Students should answer questions about the paintings: When is it? Where is it?
What is the atmosphere like? Who are the people? What are they doing and
why?
