B2 SUPPORT PROJECT E-BOOK FINAL E-BOOK B2 SUPPORT | Page 2

Dear English teachers, this e-book contains selected lesson plans and activities that our four English teachers have created based on what they have learned during their study at language-methodological courses and participation at two international conferences abroad. We are very grateful that our English teachers could improve their English language as well as their methodological skills, learned new activities or brought to school authentic materials. Now they are better equipped for challenging teaching of our students of B2 level or higher, as you may have or have not noticed, advanced-level students are more and more frequent at the grammar-type of school like ours. For non-native English teachers it means continuous work on the improvement of their language level and professional skills too. We are happy that we could support our hard-working teachers with the Erasmus Plus grant during this 20- month project. Out of solidarity with other English teachers that may be looking for new ideas we share these created materials to be used with B2 or higher level students. Some materials are universal - they can be used for any level or you are welcomed to modify them. At the beginning of the e-book you will also find links to Instagram diaries of the project and of our four English teachers, where you may see the progress of the project ‘B2 Support’ and many images from language and methodological courses in the UK, Ireland, Malta and two conferences - Innovate ELT Barcelona and EFL Forum in Bratislava 2019. We value the opportunity that Erasmus Plus has given to our school to improve education of B2 and higher classes and wish you had a similar chance for life-long education, which is for teachers crucial. Moreover, it is a good example for our students that teachers are not ignorant, but they are passionate about further study. Finally, let me close the preface with an interesting quote connected to life-long learning: “The only way to know is to learn, relearn and unlearn.” Lailah Gifty Akita, Pearls of Wisdom, Great Mind Mgr.
