Torbalı District today. There are some information about this chiftlik in the archives of the Directorate
of Title-Indeed in Torbalı District, volume 21 and 22. According to this records, it had totaly 5570
mikyas/atik dönüm (about 1400 acres).
In this study, it is tried to fix the lands of Mehşed Çiflikat-ı Hümayun talked about in the profitbooks of September 1299(yoklama hasılat defteri), volume 22 with the help of a field-work. It is
noticed that most names of the places in the chiftlik has been changed, but a few’s remained the same.
