All the information about the using of the towels is given in the museum descriptions. Thus a
towel of raw-silk and cotton threat with the woven floral (dallı) and zoomorphic (beegircik) ornament
was made in 1920s as a decoration for the horse which drew a groom and bride’s costume (eliş, çotra).
Later when horses were used more rarely, such a towel was put upon the tray with the dowry and
brought with dances into the bride’s house (düün peşkiri).
